How to do a full system reset?

MessageAuthor

My S60 (2003) instruments have suddenly stopped working. I read here some time back about doing a full system reset that might help. Something to do with disconnecting the battery as I remember? I've done a search but can't find it. Can someone please let me know what to do. Also what problems could happen from disconnecting the battary for that long Cheers in advance

Thanks S60. I actually found your post before from when it happened to you. Strangely I have just come back from Scotland (Monday) too! Maybe it's something in the air up there that hates Volvos!!! I see when you did the reset you had one or two erros such as the SRS light and also the air con. Anything else happened? Also, has it happened again to you since the reset?
